I’m not sure there’s ever been a book where I laughed more than I did while reading Traveling Mercies. Anne’s sense of humor is so unique it’s impressive.
If you’re searching for spirituality and need a good read, this one’s the way to go. Anne’s memoirs recount her experiences through various worldly obsessions and her path towards Christianity. It’s not a very conservative book, but that’s what makes it so great.
